Where we work

A political consultant who claims to know all of India knows none of it. These are the four terrains the firm reads in institutional detail — their seat arithmetic, their statutes, and the specific place each one loses delivery.

Every state in India runs a different machine. The seat arithmetic differs, obviously; but so does the legislature's competence, the municipal statute, the share of revenue that is untied, and the tier at which a scheme stops reaching people. A method travels between terrains. An argument does not, and neither does a delivery diagnosis.

The firm therefore names the ground it can claim rather than the ground it would like to sell.

Bengaluru

India's technology capital, governed for years without an elected council, and now redrawn by statute — the clearest case of a city short of neither money nor capability that still loses delivery. Read the terrain note →

The National Capital Territory of Delhi

A legislature of 70 seats without police or land, and the one city where the Union writes policy and a state is asked to deliver it. Read the terrain note →

Guwahati

The North East's only metropolitan market and its administrative and media gateway — and where the firm keeps its regional practice and its electoral intelligence. Read the terrain note →

The eight states of the North East

Mandates already won in Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh, and a standing repository of electoral intelligence across all eight states. 25 Lok Sabha seats, four constitutional regimes for autonomy. Read the terrain note →

Everywhere else

The firm takes mandates outside these four. It does not pretend to arrive with the terrain already read — the first fortnight of any such mandate is spent acquiring what it has here already.
